Our Lady of Fatima- Mass and Rosary
Let us commemorate the fifth visit of Our Lady to Fatima on September 13th 2024, at 7 p.m. with Mass followed by the Rosary. 0n September 13, 2017, some onlookers in Fatima saw an orb descending from the east. Other signs that were reported include a sudden cooling of the air; the sun was dimmed so much so that thousands of people could see the stars even though it was mid-day. Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, however, saw Our Lady, and they continued to follow Our Lady’s instructions to pray and pray much! Saint Josemaria Escriva said, “The holy Rosary is a powerful weapon. Use it with confidence and you’ll be amazed at the results.” Saint Padre Pio said, “Love the Madonna and pray the Rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother.” Let us come together to do something beautiful for God. You are invited to join the faithful of St. Ann Church on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 7 p.m for Mass followed by together praying the holy Rosary in procession around the Church grounds.
YOUTH MINISTRY RESUMES Wednesday, September 25th, 2024
Please note some changes this year
Youth Ministry will now take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm AND the program will be for students in Grades 4-6. The Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate will lead and co-ordinate the program. Youth Ministry can play a pivotal role in nurturing young individuals’ spiritual growth and engagement within the church community. It can also empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today and draw them to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith.
Activities will take place in the parish hall as well as the St. Ann School gym.
If your child meets the grade requirement, please encourage them to attend. There is no fee or cost. Registration forms are at the back of the church. Please hand them in to the office or the Sisters when you arrive with your child/children.
